Underestimating things!

People underestimate all the time. We underestimate our coworkers our families and something even our children.  Why do we do it? Does it makes us feel better putting someone down like that. Does it make us a bigger person? No, we underestimate because we are humans and we try to protect the people that we think can't do it. We try to help and say it's okay maybe next time or no let's just put that down for now, some are even flat out told you can't do it so stop. I was told this today, do you think for one moment I will stop? No it lit a fire underneath me, driving me to prove that I can do this, but you never know how your words will effect someone else. Next time you want to underestimate someone else just think of all the times that someone underestimated you and try to compassionate about it. You never know how words will effect that other person.

Dreams

Making dreams happen is a big step in someone's life. You never quite know which way the world will take you. For some will go up and others down, sideways backwards, forwards but the one great thing in life is that we have the power to choose which way it will take us. We have to power to keep moving forward after moving three steps back, we have to power to tell our inner sleeves that we have the strength to keep pushing to keep going to keep moving and growing as a person. We as humans have the ability to say enough is enough its time to make a change. It's time to push through the pain and the hurt its time to say yes to ourselves and know that it will be okay at the end of the day. We can make this change we just have to know to trust in ourself. We put faith in our community, in our church, in our spouse, but the one place we lack trust is ourself. We our the one that will make something happen, we have to stand up and make it happen, so don't just sit back and hit auto control on your life because then you have given power to everyone that has ever said no that you were never good enough or you didn't have an experience in the field or that your just not good enough to make the team this year. Take back your power and make it your own because we control our lives, we are the captain of our own ships.

Why?

When did we lose the ability and desire to ask why? Ask why something the way it is, or someone the way that they are? Is it because we are afraid of the answer or simply not caring for the answer? Children ask why all the time and rarely do we have a clear straight cut answer for them, so why as adults to we expect someone to have all the answers? We expect that someone lays in all on the table for us no matter how bad good sad upsetting it could be that's what we ask for because we think that we can handle the news of something like that. Other times people have no desire to ask why, to ask why something is the way it is, to wonder why the sky is blue. I'm not saying that all questions need to answered but it would be nice to know, or maybe no maybe it would cause distress in the world. Who knows because no one asks why something the way it is anymore.

Someone else

Do you ever wish you were just someone else for one day. That the life you had didn't exist so that could see from the outside. Seeing is what makes people believe we see miracles everyday happen. We see tragedy also, we see things that no other person should have to bear. What makes us push through the day? What makes it okay to say enough is enough, did you lose a loved one or your boss at work is a jackass, whatever your reason it's okay, because its your life. Whatever your reason it's yours no one can take that from you. No one can say oh that stupid because they have theirs too. Looking in on our life might not seem so bad, we might see flaws mistakes, regrets that we made but we are human. We all have that point where enough is too much. I never explained much in my first blog but I don't feel as though I should have to, the soul purpose of this is, is to read these words and take something out of that you could use through out your day, your week, or your life. Take it as your would like.
